Being a kid can be hard, and challenges such as social, emotional, and behavioral issues are common. Child therapy is designed to help children express themselves, process difficult experiences, understand their feelings, and develop effective coping skills. Our approach considers each child’s unique developmental stage, using tools like play therapy, storytelling, and art to engage them in a way that feels natural and supportive.
At the start, our therapists focus on creating a safe, welcoming environment where a child feels understood and valued. We believe in building a strong, trusting relationship, removing any pressure or shame, and opening space for self-discovery. Through these therapeutic interactions, we foster healthier social, emotional, and behavioral functioning, making sure the process feels enjoyable and productive for the child.
Child therapy can be beneficial for kids facing a range of difficulties, including:
Anger
Anxiety
ADHD
Autism
Behavioral concerns
Intense emotions
Learning differences
School struggles
Social challenges
Family or sibling relationships
Our therapists will also work closely with you, the parent or caregiver, to help you understand and regulate your child’s emotions, ultimately strengthening your connection and enhancing your child’s confidence.

Psychotherapy offers significant benefits not only to individuals but also to couples experiencing relationship challenges. Research shows that couples therapy can lead to substantial improvements in communication, intimacy, and overall relationship satisfaction.
Some of the many benefits of couples therapy include:
Improved communication: Couples learn effective communication skills, including active listening and expressing needs and desires.
Enhanced intimacy: Couples explore ways to deepen emotional connection and physical intimacy within their relationship.
Resolution of conflicts: Therapy provides a safe space to address and resolve conflicts constructively, leading to greater harmony and understanding.
Rebuilding trust: Couples work through past hurts and betrayals, rebuilding trust and repairing the foundation of their relationship.
Navigating life transitions: Therapy helps couples navigate major life changes such as marriage, parenthood, career changes, and retirement.
Building a stronger partnership: Couples learn to collaborate as a team, supporting each other's goals and aspirations while maintaining their individuality.
Exploring shared values and goals: Therapy helps couples align their values and goals, creating a shared vision for their future together.
In couples therapy, the therapeutic relationship plays a crucial role. I strive to create a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where both partners feel heard and validated. Together, we work to identify underlying issues, explore patterns of interaction, and develop strategies for positive change.
Every couple is unique, and there isn't a one-size-fits-all approach to couples therapy. I draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities and techniques, tailoring our work to address the specific needs and goals of each couple.
If you and your partner are experiencing relationship difficulties, couples therapy can provide the support and guidance you need to create a happier, healthier, and more fulfilling relationship. Family therapy is designed to support families as they navigate complex challenges and improve communication, helping each member feel heard, respected, and valued. In our practice, we specialize in working with high-conflict family dynamics, including families experiencing divorce, estrangement, and other challenging situations that strain relationships. Our approach begins by understanding the unique dynamics and needs of each family member, ensuring everyone has a voice in creating a tailored plan that fits your family’s specific goals. We guide families in developing practical tools and strategies for managing conflicts, communicating openly, and creating a healthier family environment.
In a safe, nonjudgmental space, family therapy allows everyone to:
Identify and Understand Patterns: Recognize recurring issues and behavior patterns that may contribute to ongoing conflicts, and learn new ways to respond that promote understanding and cooperation.
Strengthen Emotional Connections: Explore ways to rebuild trust and connection, deepening empathy and compassion among family members.
Improve Problem-Solving Skills: Equip your family with techniques to work through challenges together, using collaborative problem-solving skills that can be applied both in and outside therapy sessions.
Establish Healthy Boundaries: Set clear boundaries that respect individual needs while fostering a cohesive family structure.
Family therapy isn’t only about resolving conflicts but about building a foundation for stronger, healthier relationships. Whether your family is facing a specific crisis or seeking guidance to improve overall dynamics, our goal is to provide tools and insights that lead to lasting change. Through this process, we aim to help each family member feel seen and supported, creating an environment where everyone can thrive.

Recovery coaching is a collaborative, strength-based approach for individuals in active addiction or in recovery from alcohol and other substances, co-dependency, and addictive behaviours.
I know how scary it can be to think about that first step to change unhealthy, destructive behaviours and enter recovery. As your recovery coach, I am your support and cheerleader in your journey to a happy, healthy, and fulfilling life.
Recovery coaching is a healing-centred, strength-based approach for individuals who are in active addiction or in recovery from alcohol and other substances, co-dependency, and addictive behaviours. It is a collaborative partnership where the individual directs their recovery while the coach provides their personal and professional experience to support successful change.
As your coach, I will assess your readiness for change and then work to strengthen and reinforce recovery. We will work together to determine your short-term and long-term goals and create a plan of action to achieve them while focusing on and increasing your strengths.
When I first entered recovery, I was told by a very loving addiction counsellor that early recovery is like a roller coaster ride, and that I should “buckle up and get ready for the ride!” Was she ever right! I will be there for your rollercoaster ride, compassionately empowering you to build confidence and self-autonomy.
